16.) Are there any blood relatives that your character is particularly close with, besides the immediate ones? Cousins, Uncles, Grandfathers, Aunts, et cetera. Are there any others that your character practically considers a blood relative?

Both of the Penguin’s parents are dead - he was close to his mother, but despised his father. 

As for extended family, on occasion a deadbeat uncle or cousin will show up, seeking cash and assistance from their wealthy. The Penguin sends them packing with a hearty chuckle.

There is nobody the Penguin considers close to him. Even his right-hand thugs are merely pawns, possessions. He is truly a lone, independent criminal; rarely this lack of anything bothers him, but more often it is a comfort. 

My, my…so many pretty, interesting ladies entering my life.

15.) Is your character an early morning bird or a night owl?

Given that nothing good happens after 2am, The Penguin is usually up into the wee hours of the morning. He spends these early hours plotting new dastardly deeds, researching new weapons to add to his collection or new people to use them on and occasionally taking long walks throughout the Museum. 

So, a club I frequent hosted a “Heroes and Villains” night with a costume contest. I dressed as the animated series Rogue and came in second place.

“So as usual, the Penguin got the last laugh. But what he didn’t understand was that he who laughs last, usually laughs alone. That’s the moral of the story, right? Or maybe it’s, “If you can’t be with the one you love, love the one you’re with”. Or maybe, “Kill ‘em all and let God sort ‘em out”. I’m not sure, I guess I’m probably not the best person to ask when it comes down to morals.

14.) How does your character react to temperature changes such as extreme heat and cold? 

The Penguin doesn’t mind the cold - in fact, he would keep The Iceberg Lounge at a nippy temperature. This was useful in determining who was new - and more than likely a novice at cards - to the Iceberg Lounge for the regulars would arrive bundled up.

The Penguin is rather adverse to extremely hot temperatures.
